Ziaullah Khan is a passionate filmmaker and director who has created a distinct identity in the Indian film industry through his creative vision and practical filmmaking experience. His feature film Viraam was showcased at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, a proud achievement for any filmmaker. The film was later released in theatres on 1 December 2017 and received appreciation at several film festivals for its emotional storytelling and cinematic depth.

He began his journey in theatre and television, where he trained under renowned theatre personality Barry John. This strong foundation helped him develop a deep understanding of performance, acting, and direction. His early experiences in filmmaking introduced him to the practical realities of the entertainment industry and shaped his professional approach toward cinema and storytelling.

Over the years, Ziaullah Khan has written and directed more than 50 advertising films and has gained hands-on experience in various technical aspects of filmmaking, including cinematography, editing, script writing, and visual effects. Recently, he directed the English music video “Thank U Plz” for singer Avanti Nagral and is also working on web series projects for OTT platforms.

He completed his Bachelor of Arts (Economics Honours) from A N College, Patna. His experience across feature films, short films, documentaries, and corporate films makes him a complete filmmaker and an inspiring mentor for aspiring actors and models.

At SIT XpressN, he conducts acting and modeling workshops where students receive practical training in camera facing, audition techniques, character understanding, screen presence, and professional discipline. He strongly believes that success in the entertainment industry comes through dedication, confidence, hard work, and the right guidance.
